While everyone in the team is gutted at the start of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship has been postponed, we fully support the decision made by MSVR and the MCRCB, which is in line with government guidelines.

At present, the health and well-being of our team, our fans and the rest of the community is the ultimate priority.

We look forward to getting the 2020 season underway when the organising bodies deem it appropriate and in the meantime wish everyone the best of health.

Tarran Mackenzie: “Gutted not to be kicking off the season in a couple of weeks time especially for the team, sponsors and BSB fans. Obviously safety and people’s health is paramount so I think BSB have made the right decision at this moment in time and we’ll just have to sit tight for now! McAMS Yamaha have put a lot of effort in over the winter with the new 2020 R1 and we are all ready for round 1, whenever that might be!”

Jason O’Halloran: “It’s obviously disappointing to know we won’t be lining up on the grid in a few weeks time, but we have to follow the guidelines and advice given to us for everybody’s wellbeing. We all love motorbike racing and look forward to the first round after a long winter, we will all just have to wait a little longer.”
