Ian Hutchinson from Bingley, West Yorkshire, is a British motorcycle racer competing in the National Superstock championship for Edwards 1902 Yamaha. Although ‘Hutchy’ has raced on tracks, the 41-year-old has made his name in road racing, winning 16 times at the Isle of Man TT. He has also enjoyed success at other road racing events, winning once at the North West 200 and the Ulster Grand Prix. Returning to the BSB paddock in 2021, the former runner-up in the Superstock class will ride for Richard Arundel’s Edwards 1902 team with full support from Raceways Motorcycles, who he has previously raced with, and Yamaha Motor UK.
In 2021, Hutchinson recorded nine top-ten finishes on his way to tenth in the overall standings.
